USAID has contributed $3.3 million to the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) for the What Works to Prevent Violence: Impact at Scale program. This collaboration aims to support local organizations in piloting and evaluating effective approaches to prevent violence. The overall goal is to increase the evidence base for effective GBV prevention interventions in development contexts. USAID’s $3.3M contribution funds research on the mental health-GBV link and supports LGBTQI+-led organizations. Grants aim to prevent violence, enhance capacity, and build evidence.
